What Is Ennichisai?

Jakarta Little Tokyo ENNICHISAI is a Japanese ART & CULINARY Festival, held annually in Melawai, Blok M, Jakarta.


Through out the event, their will be more than 150 booths offering a wide range of Japanese food, products, games, demonstrations, and more, making lots to see and do.
Their will be 2 stages (Traditional & Modern) which each stage will host exciting programs non stop through out the event for 2 days.

Last year, Japan experienced a devastating earthquake, and received many kind help from Indonesia.  With deep gratitude, the theme for Ennichisai 2012 is "ARIGATO KOKORO NO TOMO", which translates to " THANK YOU, TRUE FRIEND". (kokoro=heart, tomo=friend)

HISTORY

2010

On 4th July 2010, the Japanese community residing in Jakarta gathered and organized the first Ennichisai Festival in Little Tokyo, Melawai, Blok M, on 4th July 2010.  This 1 day event drew more than 50,000 visitors.

2011

The 2nd year Ennichisai Festival was held on 09 & 10 July 2011.  Not only the event extended from 1 day to 2 days event, the event area became 2 times larger with 2 stages (Traditional & Modern).  The 2 days event enjoyed a crowed of 170,000 visitors for 2 days.  The event was appointed as an official Jakarta event by the Mayor of South Jakarta.

In 2011, Japan was struck by a catastrophic earthquake.  "Pray for Japan" was the theme for Ennichisai 2011, and part of the sponsor fee was donated to Japan.

Today at 25 June 2012, I go to PRJ with my friends Banchan, Se~no, and Kidz, we want to see Culture Event (Japan), In there so many Cosplayers and Otaku, But Most of all my Goal is to Watch JKT48, You dont know who is JKT48? Are you ever heard Google? Try Search by your own~
